Round two in Orange was nothing less than picturesque. It was Autumn and the deciduous tress were shedding. This phenomenon was on a level that I’d never seen before. The shedding was even more impressive than in Boston, and that’s saying something! With the unrelenting breeze enveloping you as you walked, it was almost as if the wind was whispering in your ear.

The Riverina you say? Yes, I said that too until I booked my flights from Sydney-Narrandera so I could be there to celebrate a giant combined hens/bucks weekend in the country! Yee-Hawww! We were on a pretty strict schedule that had packed a whole lot into just a few days. The nearly bride and groom live on a pretty sweet cotton farm just out of Whitton, with an impressive veggie patch and casually get around their property in a helicopter, as you do! 🚁

Everybody loves a weekend escape from the City. That Friday afternoon feeling when you’re driving into the sunset, the tunes are pumping and the skyscrapers are slowly disappearing from your rear vision mirror – you just can’t beat it.
